How it’s served

Wet

A wet Martini has more vermouth than usual, which makes it softer, lower in alcohol and more aromatic than a dry Martini.

In practice

Classic Martini recipes from the early 1900s were often around 2 parts gin to 1 part vermouth, which is wet by today's standards. Ask for it wet if you like the herbal taste of vermouth.
