Measure
Shot
A shot is a single measure of spirit, usually 1½ oz (45 ml) in the US, and also a small drink meant to be drunk in one go.
In practice
Shot sizes vary by country: often 25 or 35 ml in the UK and around 30 ml in Australia. Drinky-Drink counts a shot as 1½ oz (45 ml), the same as a jigger. A shot glass holds one shot.
