Arizona Antifreeze cocktail: green drink in a shot glass
Shown: Arizona Antifreeze

A shot glass is a small glass that holds one shot, about 1½ oz (45 ml), for spirits and shooters drunk in one go.

In practice

Sizes vary, from 1 oz to 2 oz, so it isn't an exact measure; use a jigger when the amount matters. Layered shots like the B-52 are built in a shot glass.
