How to make a Gin Swizzle
To make a Gin Swizzle, shake with ice and strain into a highball glass: 1½ oz lime juice, ¼ oz simple syrup, 2 oz gin, 1 dash Bitters and 3 oz club soda.

Add lime juice, simple syrup, gin and bitters to a cocktail shaker.

Fill the shaker with ice.

Shake hard for 10-15 seconds, until the outside is frosty.

Strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice cubes.

Top with club soda.

Give it one gentle stir.
Why shake? Lime juice needs a hard shake to mix and chill properly.
No simple syrup? Muddle 1 tsp sugar with the bitters and a splash of water in the shaker until it dissolves, then carry on.
