How to make a Gimlet
To make a Gimlet, shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass: 2½ oz gin, ½ oz lime juice and ½ oz simple syrup. Garnish with lime.

Chill a cocktail glass: fill it with ice and water while you mix, then tip it out.

Add gin, lime juice and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.

Fill the shaker with ice.

Shake hard for 10-15 seconds, until the outside is frosty.
