How to make a Tommy's Margarita

To make a Tommy's Margarita, shake with ice and strain into a rocks glass: 1½ oz tequila, ½ oz lime juice and 2 oz agave syrup.

    Add tequila, lime juice and agave syrup to a cocktail shaker.

    Fill the shaker with ice.

    Shake hard for 10-15 seconds, until the outside is frosty.

    Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice cubes.

Why shake? Lime juice needs a hard shake to mix and chill properly.
