How to make a Gagliardo

To make a Gagliardo, shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass: 1½ oz peach vodka, 1 oz lemon juice, ⅓ oz Galliano and ⅓ oz sirup of roses.

    Chill a cocktail glass: fill it with ice and water while you mix, then tip it out.

    Add peach vodka, lemon juice, Galliano and sirup of roses to a cocktail shaker.

    Fill the shaker with ice.

    Shake hard for 10-15 seconds, until the outside is frosty.

    Strain into the chilled cocktail glass.

Why shake? Lemon juice needs a hard shake to mix and chill properly.
