How to make a Casa Blanca

To make a Casa Blanca, shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass: 2 oz light rum, ¼ oz Triple sec, ¼ oz lime juice and ¼ oz Maraschino liqueur.

    Chill a cocktail glass: fill it with ice and water while you mix, then tip it out.

    Add light rum, triple sec, lime juice and maraschino liqueur to a cocktail shaker.

    Fill the shaker with ice.

    Shake hard for 10-15 seconds, until the outside is frosty.

    Strain into the chilled cocktail glass.

Why shake? Lime juice needs a hard shake to mix and chill properly.
