Pint glass

Snakebite and Black cocktail: deep blackcurrant purple-red beer in a tall straight pint glass, with a thin pink foam head
Shown: Snakebite and Black

A pint glass is a tall, straight-sided glass that holds a pint of beer, used for beer cocktails like the Snakebite and Black and the Michelada.

In practice

A US pint glass holds 16 oz (473 ml); a British pint glass holds 20 oz (568 ml). Pour beer down the side of the tilted glass so it doesn't foam over, then straighten it to finish with a small head.
