How to make a Vesper
To make a Vesper, shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass: 2 oz gin, ½ oz vodka and ⅓ oz lillet blanc.

Chill a cocktail glass: fill it with ice and water while you mix, then tip it out.

Add gin, vodka and Lillet Blanc to a cocktail shaker.

Fill the shaker with ice.

Shake hard for 10-15 seconds, until the outside is frosty.

Strain into the chilled cocktail glass.
Why shake? A hard shake chills the drink quickly and blends everything evenly.
