How to make a Bombay Cassis
To make a Bombay Cassis, build in a wine glass: 1⅔ oz gin, ⅔ oz Creme de Cassis, ½ oz fresh lime juice, 2½ oz ginger beer, ⅔ oz lime and 1 long strip ginger.
You'll need
- Gin1⅔ oz
- Creme de Cassis⅔ oz
- Fresh Lime Juice½ oz
- Ginger beer2½ oz
- Lime⅔ oz
- Ginger1 long strip
Instructions
- 1
Add lime, cut into wedges to a wine glass and press gently with a muddler or the end of a wooden spoon to release the juice.
- 2
Pour in gin, creme de cassis, fresh lime juice and ginger.
- 3
Top with ginger beer.
- 4
Give it one gentle stir.
Why build it in the glass? Nothing here needs shaking, and pouring straight in keeps the ginger beer fizzy.
