How to make a Belgian Blue
To make a Belgian Blue, stir with ice and strain into a highball glass: ⅔ oz vodka, ⅓ oz Coconut liqueur, ⅓ oz Blue Curacao and sprite.
You'll need
- Vodka⅔ oz
- Coconut liqueur⅓ oz
- Blue Curacao⅓ oz
- Spritetop up
Instructions
- 1
Pour vodka, coconut liqueur and blue curacao into a mixing glass (any sturdy glass works).
- 2
Fill it with ice.
- 3
Stir for 20-30 seconds, until the outside is cold to the touch.
- 4
Strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice cubes.
- 5
Top with Sprite.
- 6
Give it one gentle stir.
Why stir? Vodka, coconut liqueur and blue curacao are clear, so a gentle stir over ice chills and dilutes them without clouding the drink.
